Brownian Motion

Brownian Motion Description

The Brownian motion is a random walk model and is often used in finance to model stock prices. The Brownian motion assumes a normal distribution of period returns. Given this, the normal distribution depends on the average period return µ and its standard deviaion σ. A small excel example of simulating stock prices with Brownian motion can be found in the following Youtube video.
